World EV Day 2025:  Electric Vehicles are becoming more and more popular in India, and the industry is also growing rapidly. As per reports, the Indian EV market is expected to grow up to 110 billion dollars by 2029. Electric cars are gaining popularity among the young and prospective buyers, and the market has witnessed the addition of some of the most advanced, capable, and feature-loaded electric cars in recent years. Not Mahindra XEV 9E Or Tata Harrier EV

The Mahindra XEV 9E has an impressive ARAI-claimed range of up to 656 kilometers, once fully charged. The recently launched Tata Harrier EV is a very capable off-road-focused electric SUV with an impressive range of up to 627 kilometers. The newcomer Tesla Model Y also has a claimed range of up to 627 kilometers, but none of these electric vehicles is the one with the highest range.

Electric Car In India With The Highest Range

The electric car with the highest range in India is a luxury car. Now, even the BMW i7 or the iX, or even the Rolls-Royce Spectre, is not the electric car with the highest range. The highest range offering electric car in India is the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic Sedan. It has a claimed ARAI range of up to 857 kilometers in a single charge, and the real-world figures have also turned out to be more than 800 kilometers, once fully charged. The Mercedes EQS 580 4Matic costs Rs 1.63 crore (ex-showroom).
