Xiaomi SU7 Price Revealed: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has entered the electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of its first electric car, the SU7. Xiaomi was unveiled recently and aims to challenge established players like Tesla and BYD with its blend of performance, advanced features, and competitive pricing. Xiaomi has now revealed the prices of the SU7 electric sedan, it is available with its prices starting from 215,900 yuan (approximately Rs 24.90 lakh). The Xiaomi SU7 undercuts the Tesla Model 3 in China, in terms of pricing. Xiaomi plans to commence deliveries of the SU7 this month, with the EV already showcased at various showrooms across China, generating significant interest among potential buyers.

Xiaomi SU7 - Performance 

The Xiaomi SU7 is available in four variants including an entry-level version, a Pro variant, a Max version and a limited Founders Edition. Xiaomi highlighted the SU7's performance capabilities during the launch event, the top-end Max version boasts a top speed of 265 km/h and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds, offering a range of up to 810 kms on a single charge. The limited Founders Edition, equipped with a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive powertrain is capable of delivering a power output 986 bhp and sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds.

Xiaomi SU7 - Battery & Range 

Xiaomi SU7 comes with battery options including an entry-level 73.6 kWh battery pack and a larger 101 kWh battery pack for the top-of-the-line variant. Xiaomi claims these batteries provide at least 700 kms of range on a single charge. Additionally, the company plans to introduce a larger 150 kWh battery pack next year, promising a range of 1,200 kms. The Xiaomi SU7 is equipped with ultra-fast charging capabilities and features a 486V architecture enabling the EV to recharge enough to cover 350 kms with just 15 minutes of charging. Furthermore, a larger 871V architecture allows the EV to recharge enough to cover 510 kms within the same duration.
