The Bharat Gaurav tourist train will run from Bhagalpur on July 27 and cover various pilgrimage sites in 12 days. The Ministry of Railways has launched the Bharat Gaurav trains to promote tourism in India under ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat ’.

IRCTC Chief Supervisor Kinkar Rai Choudhary and Tourism Monitor Shrimant Bhagat confirmed the launch of Bharat Gaurav trains from Bhagalpur, Bihar, in a press conference held at Bhagalpur Station on June 17. The tourist trains are being operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited, he added.

Details About The Train Route And Stoppages:

The Bharat Gaurav tourist train starting from Bhagalpur will pass through Jasidih, Madhupur, Sujalpur, Barakar, Dhanbad, Bokaro Steel City, Muri, Ranchi, Rourkela, Jhainsugura, Champa, Bilaspur, Raipur, and Durg stations. The train will stop at these stations.

This train has 12 coaches and a total capacity of 790 passengers. Medical facilities will be provided to the passengers on the train during the journey, Jagran.com reported.

The train will stop at several stations and cover popular pilgrimage sites, like Tirupati Balaji, Rameswaram (Jyotirlinga), Madurai, Kanyakumari, and Mallikarjuna (Jyotirlinga) in 12 days and 11 nights.

Fare And Booking Details:

The fare for Sleeper Economy Class will be Rs 22,760 per person, and the fare for Third AC will be Rs 39,990 per person.

Interested tourists can book their tickets by visiting the IRCTC office or through the IRCTC website. Passengers can get detailed information about ticket booking and journey through the IRCTC website. Tourists can also contact any authorised IRCTC agent for information and ticket booking.
