Bihar Election Result: The result for the Bihar Assembly election was announced on Friday, giving a landslide victory for the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The incumbent alliance managed to win 202 out of the total 243 Assembly constituencies, while the Mahagathbandhan, under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav, was limited to 35 seats. While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single largest by winning 89 seats, its ally, the Janata Dal United (JDU), won 85 seats, almost double of what it got in the 2020 Assembly election. The alliance managed to win several seats by a big margin; however, the fate of nine seats was decided by less than 1000 votes.
Margin of victory was less than 1,000 votes:
Sandesh (Bhojpur): Radha Charan Shah (JDU) defeated Deepu Singh (RJD) by just 27 votes
Agiaon (Bhojpur): Mahesh Paswan (BJP) defeated the CPI(ML) candidate by 95 votes
Forbesganj (Araria): Manoj Vishwas (Congress) defeated Vidya Sagar Keshari (BJP) by 221 votes

Ramgarh (Kaimur): Satish Kumar Singh Yadav (BSP) defeated Ashok Kumar Singh (BJP) by 30 votes
Chanpatia (West Champaran): Abhishek Ranjan (Congress) defeated Umakant Singh (BJP) by 602 votes
Jehanabad: Rahul Kumar (RJD) defeated Chandeshwar Prasad (JDU) by 793 votes
Goh (Aurangabad): Amarendra Kumar (RJD) defeated Dr Ranvijay Kumar (BJP) by 767 votes
Bodh Gaya: Kumar Sarvjeet (RJD) defeated Shyamdev Paswan (LJP-Ram Vilas) by 881 votes
Bakhtiyarpur (Patna): Arun Kumar (LJP) defeated Anirudh Kumar (RJD) by 981 votes
The experts suggest that the NDA candidates performed well in almost all the regions, especially in the Champaran region, reported Jagran.Com. RJD's Faisal Rahman won the Dhaka seat by a mere 178 votes, while the NDA secured the remaining 11 seats by wide margins. Apart from this, Congress won the Chanpatia seat by a narrow margin of 602 votes and the Valmiki Nagar seat by a narrow margin of 1,675 votes.
