Bihar Assembly Election Result: The Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on November 14 secured a massive victory in the Bihar Assembly election, winning 202 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan suffered a crushing defeat, managing just 35 seats.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single largest party by winning 89 seats, while its ally, Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United (JDU), was right behind with 85 seats. Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which fell to the third position, suffered a massive setback by winning 26 seats.

While the NDA alliance registered landslide wins with wide margins, the election also featured some nail-biting battles. The narrowest contest was a 27-vote margin in Sandesh, and in three constituencies, the margin between the winning and trailing candidate was less than 100 votes.

Bihar Election Result: Constituencies Decided By Less Than 100 Votes

- Sandesh: In the Arrah Lok Sabha constituency, the JD(U) candidate Radha Charan Sah won the Assembly seat against the RJD's Dipu Singh by a margin of just 27 votes.

- Ramgarh (Kaimur): The Ramgarh seat too witnessed a nail-biting contest between the BSP and BJP. BSP’s Satish Kumar Singh won the seat against BJP’s Ashok Kumar Singh by 30 votes.

- Agiaon: After several flip-flops during the count, BJP's Mahesh Paswan finally emerged victorious against CPI(ML) candidate with a narrow margin of 95 votes.

Among the landslide victories, the BJP candidate Rama Nishad won the Aurai seat with a margin of 52,817 votes. Another notable win was in Jhanjharpur, where BJP candidate Nitish Mishra defeated Ram Narayan Yadav by 52,490 votes.
