Bihar politics has taken a dramatic and unexpected turn following the NDA's historic victory, Rohini Acharya's surprising exit from politics, and explosive revelations about the Yadav family. In an even more shocking twist, Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, has made the bold decision to back the NDA, defying his father's lifelong opposition to the BJP-led alliance.

This decision was announced in a recent meeting of his party, the Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD). Additionally, Tej Pratap has extended an offer to his sister, Rohini Acharya who has been vocal in her criticism of Tejashwi Yadav to join his party. He even proposed making her the national patron of JJD.

Tej Pratap's move is a significant blow to his father, Lalu Yadav, and has sent shockwaves through Bihar's political landscape. This development carries even more weight following the RJD's crushing defeat in the assembly elections and the ongoing familial tensions between Tej Pratap, Rohini, and Tejashwi.

Lalu, who has always opposed the BJP, is now faced with the reality that his own son has aligned himself with the very party he spent his career fighting against. Tej Pratap’s decision has further intensified the political crisis for the RJD, especially at a time when the party is grappling with its electoral loss.

In the recent assembly elections, the people of Bihar rejected the Grand Alliance, which led Tej Pratap to form his own party, the Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JJD), and contest the elections on that platform. However, his party did not fare well, and Tej Pratap himself lost his seat in Mahua. Despite the disappointing results, the infighting within the Yadav family continues to escalate.

Now, in a surprising turn, Tej Pratap has announced that the JJD will offer moral support to the NDA government.

According to a report by Jagran.com, this decision was made during a crucial meeting of the party, as revealed by the party's spokesperson, Prem Yadav. In the meeting, Tej Pratap also outlined strategies to strengthen and expand the party at a national level. As part of his efforts to broaden the party's influence, Tej Pratap invited his sister, Rohini Acharya, to become the national patron of JJD.
