This time, in preparation for the Assembly elections, the Banka district administration has taken a major step to ensure complete transparency and control.
As part of monitoring election expenses, it has now been made mandatory for candidates to provide bills, including GST, for everything from tea to rasgulla. The rates for every item and service have been fixed so that an accurate account of the election expenditure limit can be maintained.

- Hotel Room (Non-AC or AC) - Rs 1,000 or Rs 1,500 per day
