Bihar Government Formation: The swearing-in ceremony of Bihar’s new government will be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, marking the first such event at the venue in 10 years. On Monday, a joint team of officials from the district administration, police, municipal corporation, and other agencies visited the site to review the arrangements.

Officials' leave has been cancelled, and elaborate security arrangements are underway for the ceremony as several prominent NDA leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, are expected to attend the ceremony, Jagran.com reported.

Bihar CM Oath Ceremony: Gandhi Maidan Gears Up For Grand Event

Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of Bihar’s new government at Gandhi Maidan are in full swing. The ground has been divided into zones to streamline crowd management and security, while five Bihar Administrative Service officers, including five for special guests, have been deputed for the event.

Senior officials, including Divisional Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar, Range Inspector General Jitendra Rana, and District Magistrate Dr Tyagarajan S M, visited the site and reviewed the arrangements, the report added. Thousands of guests, including top NDA leaders, are expected to attend the grand ceremony.

Patna DM Cancels Leave Of Officers Ahead Of Swearing-In Ceremony

In view of the upcoming swearing-in ceremony of Bihar’s new government, the Patna District Magistrate has cancelled leaves of all district officials, including sub-division and block level officers, technical officers and supervisor level officers until November 20. A large number of officials will be deployed to maintain law and order during the event.

For those requiring leave under special circumstances, a formal request must be submitted to the District Magistrate through the senior in charge, stating the reason, and permission must be obtained before leaving the headquarters.
