The General Administration Department of Bihar has announced new responsibilities for ten Bihar Administrative Service officers. Manish Kumar, Senior Deputy Collector of Gaya, has been appointed as a Special Officer in the Health Department. Priyanka Kumari, Land Reforms Deputy Collector of Shahpur Patori, has been appointed as Special Officer in the Bihar Resident Commissioner's office in New Delhi.
Anil Kumar, Senior Deputy Collector of Sheohar, has also been appointed as Special Officer in the Health Department. Suman Kumar, District Land Acquisition Officer of Saran, becomes Deputy Secretary in the Food and Consumer Protection Department. Anand Prakash, previously Special Officer in the Health Department, has been appointed as Senior Deputy Collector in Gaya.
Neeraj Narayan and Qayyum Ansari have been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Road Construction Department and Joint Secretary in the Bihar State Election Authority, respectively. Manzur Alam and Shahnawaz Ahmad have been appointed as Additional Collector for Public Grievance Redressal in Begusarai and Deputy Secretary in Information and Technology, respectively. Abhyendra Mohan Singh, previously Deputy Development Commissioner in Aurangabad, has been appointed Secretary of the Bihar University Service Commission.
Two Indian Administrative Service officers were also transferred. Ananya Singh, awaiting posting after joining the Bihar cadre from West Bengal, has been appointed as Deputy Development Commissioner in Aurangabad. Krishna Kumar, Joint Secretary in the Commercial Taxes Department, has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Road Construction Department.
