The Revenue mega campaign (Mahabhiyan) will be conducted across Bihar from August 16 to September 20, 2025, with preparations now in the final stage. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has released the micro plan for all 537 zones of the state, detailing panchayat-wise camp schedules. Each panchayat will host two special camps during the drive.

Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh said the micro plans, prepared by zonal officers, have been uploaded on the department’s portal for public access. The plans list camp dates, names and numbers of revenue personnel and Amins, enabling residents to directly contact officials. Copies of jamabandi and application forms are also being prepared mouza-wise and handed over to the designated teams.

Public awareness activities, including village-wise announcements and distribution of pamphlets, are underway. Panchayat representatives have been given copies of the micro plan, and teams will go door-to-door to deliver jamabandi copies and application forms to landholders.

Under the campaign, issues such as errors in digitised jamabandi, missing records, inheritance transfers, and partition transfers will be addressed. Mistakes in names, account numbers, khesra, area, and rent will be corrected, while the offline jamabandi will be digitised. In cases of a landholder’s death, records will be transferred to legal heirs, and a separate jamabandi will be created for co-owners where verbal partition has occurred.

Door-to-Door Outreach and Camps

From August 16 to September 15, teams will visit households to provide jamabandi copies and application forms. Applicants can submit filled forms with necessary documents at Halka-wise special camps, which will be held in government or public buildings within each panchayat. Registration will be done through OTP verification, and applicants will receive updates on the status of their requests.

Two camps will be organised in each Halka, with a gap of at least seven days between them.
