Bihar:  In a shocking incident in Bihar, a police officer was thrashed by petrol pump staff when he went to get petrol filled in his vehicle. The incident took place in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, where the police officer was beaten after he allegedly slapped a petrol pump staff for giving fuel worth Rs 720.

What Led To Violent Clash?

The police officer went to the petrol pump and asked staff to get petrol filled in his vehicle. He asked the petrol pump employee to add petrol worth Rs 120, but the employee mistakenly added fuel worth Rs 720. The police officer got angry and allegedly slapped the employee.

When the officer slapped the employee, other staff members, including the manager, got angry and thrashed and assaulted the police officer. The police officer did not expect such a reaction from the petrol pump staff and was left shocked.

The incident was recorded on camera in which the staff members were seen beating, slapping and assaulting the police officer. One of the staff members even slapped the officer four to five times.

A case has been filed, and the police are investigating the matter, officials said. Further details are underway.
