In a shocking incident, three people have died under suspicious circumstances in a house in the Dakshinpuri area under the Ambedkar Nagar police station in South Delhi.

According to the information, four men, including two brothers, were sleeping in the same room. While three of them died, one is hospitalised and getting treatment.

The police team reached the spot after getting the information. The officials said that the cause of death is being ascertained. According to the information, a man named Zeeshan, a resident of Bhalaswa Dairy, called PCR, informing that his brother was not picking up the phone.

He told the police that his relatives named Imran alias Salman, Mohsin were inside a house with Haseeb and another unknown person.

He told the police that they were working as an AC mechanic in a one-bedroom room in the house. When police reached the house and found that all were lying unconscious on the first floor. All the victims were rushed to the Ambedkar Hospital. They were later referred to the Safdarjung and then AIIMS trauma Centre.

All, except Hasseb, died during the treatment. The police have registered a case and have started an investigation into the suspicious deaths of three individuals.

Prima facie, the case seems to be of suffocation or gas leak, and the final cause of the death will only be ascertained after the post-mortem.

Providing details, DCP Ankit Chauhan said, "We received a call at around 11.15 am, the caller told that his brother was not opening the gate. When the police reached the spot, they found four people unconscious and some AC units and gas cylinders lying there. Their age was between 20-25. They were rushed to the hospital. Three were declared dead and one is undergoing treatment. Prima facie, no foul play is visible. We are investigating whether it was a gas leak or something else. They were AC mechanics."

Earlier on Wednesday evening, a woman named Ruchika (42) and her son Krish (14) were killed inside their house by a worker at her husband's shop in Lajpat Nagar.

The accused, 24-year-old Mukesh, was arrested while trying to flee on a train to Bihar just hours after the incident. The victims were found with multiple injuries. Mukesh, who worked at Kuldeep Sewani’s clothing store in Central Market, allegedly held a grudge after being reprimanded by Ruchika for his repeated absenteeism. Enraged, he reportedly plotted the attack in retaliation.
