Continuous rainfall over the last few days has caused waterlogging in several parts of Bihar, while many rivers are flowing above their danger marks. On Monday, intermittent showers in most regions, including Patna, brought down the maximum temperature and provided relief from the heat.

According to the Meteorological Centre, Patna, monsoon activity is expected to gradually weaken in the southern parts of the state, shifting its impact towards North Bihar. Heavy rainfall is likely in most northern districts over the next 24 hours, with very heavy rain warnings issued for West Champaran and Gopalganj, and heavy rain predicted in Kishanganj. Southern districts, including Patna, are likely to see thunderstorms, lightning, and scattered showers, with cloudy conditions prevailing.
