Bihar Weather: A low-pressure area is likely to develop over the east-central and north-central Bay of Bengal around September 25, the Patna Meteorological Centre said on Monday. The system is expected to trigger changes in Bihar’s weather, with rainfall predicted in several districts until September 27.
The IMD has issued a heavy rainfall warning for one or two places in six districts: Jamui, Banka, Katihar, Kishanganj, Purnia, and Bhagalpur. Scattered showers are also expected in other regions, including Patna, which will remain partly cloudy on Tuesday.
Over the next 24 hours, the state could see a temperature rise of 1-3 degrees Celsius, while scattered rainfall accompanied by strong winds is likely in Jamui, Banka, Samastipur, Vaishali, Begusarai, Saharsa, Madhepura, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, and Madhubani.
Rainfall activity has weakened in many parts of the state over the last three days. The highest rainfall of 62.4 mm was recorded in Singheshwar, Madhepura, while Gaya’s Manpur registered 5 mm and Katihar’s Barari 1.2 mm.
