Bihar:  Another shocking incident of spousal violence has come to light in which a woman from Bihar’s Aurangabad allegedly murdered her husband with the help of her uncle and two other men. The woman and two middlemen, Jaishankar Choubey and Mukesh Sharma, were arrested by the police. An investigation is underway to arrest her uncle as well. This incident took place on June 24, weeks after the Meghalaya murder case, where a woman killed her husband with her lover and three friends.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested along with two others for allegedly murdering her husband just 45 days after marriage. The victim, identified as Priyanshu Kumar Singh, was shot dead by two unidentified men on June 24 at Lembokhap village near the Nabinagar police station, the Aurrangda police said. Priyamshu was rushed to the hospital but died during the treatment. Soon after the incident, an FIR was registered against the unidentified men based on the statement of the deceased's kin.

Police Reveals Chilling Details Of The Case

During the investigation, the police officials found out that the woman, Gunja Singh, had been in a relationship with her uncle, Jeevan Singh, for the past 15 years. Previously, her uncle refused her marriage proposals several times in the past.

As per the call records of Gunja, she was in constant contact with her uncle, Jeevan. The police revealed that she kept in touch with her uncle, which created problems in her marital life. Following the problems, they both decided to get her husband murdered.

“Upon investigation, it was revealed that Gunja and Jeevan were unable to meet after her marriage to Priyanshu, hence they decided to kill him. Jeevan hired contract killers and paid them money to murder Chhotu,” SP Ambrish Rahul said.

With the plan to get her husband eliminated, Gunja hired two middlemen, Jaishankar Choubey and Mukesh Sharma, both residents of Garhwa in Jharkhand, on the instructions of her uncle.

The police have arrested two other people in the case, but Jeevan, a transporter, is currently absconding.
