BRA Bihar University will commence the undergraduate second-semester examinations on September 15, with around 1,20,000 students expected to appear. The university released the detailed examination schedule on Sunday.

According to Controller of Examinations Dr Ramkumar, principals of all affiliated colleges have been informed about the schedule. The exams will be conducted in two shifts: 9 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 4 PM. All subjects have been divided into six groups for both Major and Minor courses.

Major Course Exam Schedule:

  • Group A: Bhojpuri, History, LSW, Maithili – Sept 15, first shift
  • Group B: Music, Persian, Philosophy, Political Science, Zoology – Sept 15, second shift
  • Group C: AIH & C, Hindi, Home Science, Sanskrit – Sept 16, first shift
  • Group D: Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Sociology – Sept 16, second shift
  • Group E: Accounting & Finance, Electronics, Economics, English, Urdu, HRM – Sept 18, first shift
  • Group F: Mathematics, Physics, Bangla, Psychology, Marketing – Sept 18, second shift
  • Minor Course Exam Schedule:
  • Group A: Bhojpuri, History, LSW, Maithili – Sept 19, first shift
  • Group B: Music, Persian, Philosophy, Political Science, Zoology – Sept 19, second shift
  • Group C: AIH & C, Hindi, Home Science, Sanskrit – Sept 20, first shift
  • Group D: Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Sociology – Sept 20, second shift
  • Group E: Accounting & Finance, Electronics, Economics, English, Urdu, HRM – Sept 23, first shift
  • Group F: Mathematics, Physics, Bangla, Psychology, Marketing – Sept 23, second shift

Examinations for the Multi-Disciplinary Group Course subjects will begin on September 24, while Value Added Course exams will start on October 6, Skill Enhancement Course on 8 October, and AEC group on October 10.

Practical exams for Undergraduate Part III (Session 2022–25) will be held from September 10 to 18. Colleges will conduct these exams at their respective campuses. If a subject teacher is unavailable, teachers from nearby colleges may serve as external examiners. Principals are instructed to submit the practical marks in a sealed envelope to the university within three days of exam completion, and also via email.

Special Centres for Music Practical Exams:

  • MDDM College, Muzaffarpur: for colleges in Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, and East Champaran
  • Pt Ugam Pandey Mahavidyalaya, Motihari: for colleges in East Champaran and West Champaran

The university will also issue admit cards this week, and colleges have been instructed to download them from the university website and distribute them to students.
