Jaipur Viral Video: Ugly scenes unfolded in a restaurant of the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC), as a group of customers (including two women) were embroiled in a brawl with the restaurant authorities over table reservations.
The incident occurred on Sunday night at the Padao restaurant, which is located on the Nahargarh Hills. A 45-second video clip has gone viral, which shows the two sides slapping and punching each other. The clip showed at least 15 people, including two couples, taking part in the brawl.
A Seat Argument Turned Into A Violent Brawl
According to the testimony of the restaurant manager, as quoted by Dainik Bhaskar, a group of six young men and two women, reportedly connected to a police official posted in the Jaipur Commissionerate, arrived at the restaurant for a party. Due to heavy rainfall, the group requested the restaurant authorities for the outdoor seating area.
But the authorities denied the requests, stating that strong gusty winds were blowing in the area. The group then entered the cafe area and took a table that was already reserved. Upon requests made by the authorities to vacate the seat, an argument ensued, which later turned violent.

The two women were seen hitting the restaurant staff and shouting, trying to stop them from hitting their partners. The restaurant staff, in return, assaulted them. As per officials, quoted by the NDTV, “The incident took place around 8 pm when two couples had gone to the restaurant for dinner. Their argument with the staff began over a seat that they had reserved. The argument soon turned into a violent fight.”
Meanwhile, a complaint has been launched at the Brahmapuri Police Station by the two women who were part of the brawl against the restaurant staff for accusations of harassment. The confirmation was given by Brahmapuri Police Station CI Rajesh Gautam.
The restaurant authorities have also lodged complaints against the miscreants for allegations of misconduct and physical assault. Currently, the matter is under active inquiry. However, no arrests have been made by the police authorities in this case.
