Delhi Bomb Blast: Ahead of the second phase of voting, all the districts of Bihar has been put on high alert due to the blast in Delhi that killed at least 11. The authorities stated that the districts sharing borders with the neighbouring states or Nepal have been put on heavy alert. While providing details, Additional Director General of Police Pankaj Kumar Darad stated that additional police forces are deployed in all the districts ahead of the second phase voting.

The authority stated that instructions have been issued to exercise extra caution and tighten surveillance in the regions where voting is scheduled for tomorrow. Apart from this, Superintendents of police in all districts have been asked to increase surveillance at religious sites, tourist centers, railway stations, bus stops, and major markets.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah took stock of the situation in the wake of the terror attack near Red Fort. Market association president Sanjay Bhargaw stated that the Chandni Chowk market will remain closed on Tuesday.

While providing details, the authorities stated that the explosion had also damaged the nearby vehicles and caused the causalities. "Today at around 6.52 pm, a slow-moving vehicle stopped at the red light. An explosion happened in that vehicle, and due to the explosion, nearby vehicles were also damaged. All agencies, FSL, NIA, are here," the Delhi police commissioner stated.

"Some people have died, and some have been injured in the incident. The situation is being monitored. The Home Minister has also called us, and information is being shared with him from time to time," he added. The voting for the second phase will be held on Tuesday and the result for the assembly polls will be announced on November 14.
