To accommodate the rush of passengers traveling for the upcoming festival season, the East Central Railway has announced schedule changes for several trains. The stoppage time for numerous special trains bound for Bihar will be increased at Ghaziabad station, and a new temporary stop has been added at Maihar station for the Navratri Mela (fair).
Increased Stoppage Time At Ghaziabad Station
For the convenience of passengers, the stoppage time for 13 pairs of festival special trains will be increased from two minutes to five minutes at Ghaziabad station. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra, the updated schedule is as follows:
Train 04450/04449 (New Delhi-Darbhanga Special):
- The New Delhi-bound train (departing from September 29) will stop at Ghaziabad from 15:50 to 15:55.
- The Darbhanga-bound train (departing from September 30) will stop at Ghaziabad from 22:07 to 22:12.
Train 04016/04415 (Anand Vihar-Sitamarhi Special):
- The Anand Vihar-bound train (departing September 29) will stop at Ghaziabad from 16:15 to 16:20.
- The Sitamarhi-bound train (departing from September 30) will stop at Ghaziabad from 17:18 to 17:23.
Train 04010/04009 (Delhi-Sitamarhi Special):
- The Delhi-bound train (departing October 2) will stop at Ghaziabad from 23:49 to 23:54.
- The Sitamarhi-bound train (departing October 3) will stop at Ghaziabad from 23:07 to 23:12.
Train 04008/04007 (Anand Vihar-Jogbani Special):
- The Anand Vihar-bound train (departing from September 20) will stop at Ghaziabad from 09:15 to 09:20.
- The Jogbani-bound train (departing from Septemebr 21) will stop at Ghaziabad from 02:07 to 02:12.
Train 05576/05575 (Anand Vihar-Saharsa Special):
- The Anand Vihar-bound train (from Septemebr 23 to November 4) will stop at Ghaziabad from 05:45 to 05:50.
- The Saharsa-bound train (from September 24 to Novemebr 5) will stop at Ghaziabad from 23:40 to 23:45.
Temporary Stoppage At Maihar For Navratri Mela
Additionally, a temporary stoppage has been approved at Maihar station to cater to pilgrims attending the Navratri Mela. The schedule for these trains is as follows:
- Train 19052 (Muzaffarpur-Valsad Express): From September 22 to September 29, will stop at Maihar from 11:40 to 11:45.
- Train 19051 (Valsad-Muzaffarpur Express): From September 27 to October 4, will stop at Maihar from 15:05 to 15:10.
- Train 15268 (Lokmanya Tilak-Raxaul Express): From September 22 to September 29, will stop at Maihar from 10:40 to 10:45.
- Train 15267 (Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak Express): From September 27 to October 4, will stop at Maihar from 11:20 to 11:30.
