On Friday morning, a gas cylinder exploded in Paswan Tola of Susta Panchayat in the district, resulting in six people sustaining burns. The explosion also caused a fire that burned six adjacent houses to ashes.

Local residents immediately rushed the injured individuals to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Family members stated that the cylinder had been brought from the agency that very same day. The incident occurred when the stove was lit for cooking, which suddenly caught fire. Before they could bring the fire under control, the cylinder exploded. Unable to escape in time, six people were caught in the fire and were burnt.

The victims have been identified as Ramji Paswan, Gautam Kumar, Rinku Devi, Manish and two small children.

A fire brigade team arrived at the scene, which had attracted a large crowd, and successfully brought the fire under control. Local people were demanding treatment and compensation for the affected families.
