What Is the National e-Vidhan App?

The National e-Vidhan Application (NEVA) is a workflow system deployed on the National Informatics Centre (NIC) cloud system, MeghRaj. The application will help the Chair of the House to conduct the proceedings of the House smoothly, carry out their duties in the House efficiently and conduct Legislative Business of the House in a paperless manner.

The application is compatible with both Android and iPhone users. All the ministers have to enter basic information like contact details, rules of procedure, list of business, notices, bulletins, bills, starred/unstarred questions and answers, papers laid, committee reports, etc. in their handheld devices/ tablets and equip all Legislatures/ Departments to handle it efficiently. This will eliminate the manual process of data collection for all the political leaders.

Additionally, the application also has an encrypted page for each of the Member of the House to submit details about personal questions and other notices.

Why Is The Application Required?

The application will tabulate all the important information about the different legislatures of the country into one platform. This will create a massive data depository without the need for multiple applications to check the data of these legislatures.

The mNeVA mobile application, which is available for both Android and iOS, has democratised the legislative proceedings for everyone.
