Days before the voting for the Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday released a video message to the voters highlighting his government's achievements in the past 20 years and seeking 'one more chance'.

In the video message, Nitish said that he always worked hard for the people of Bihar with utmost honesty. Seeking one more term for the NDA government, the CM pitched, "Give us one more chance. We will develop Bihar in such a way that it will be included among the top states. Therefore, please reach your polling booth in maximum numbers and cast your vote".

Drawing a contrast between his rule and RJD's 'jungle raj', he said that the NDA government started its work with improvement in the law and order situation across the state and ensured that women could travel alone safely at night.

"Earlier, the law and order in the state was very bad. Firstly, work was done to improve it. Also, the situation of education, health, roads, electricity, water supply, agriculture and employment for the youth has been significantly improved," he said.

Hitting out at RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav, he said that he worked for the all sections of societies and not for his family. "From the very beginning, we have worked for the development of all sections of society, be it Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, backward, extremely backward, Dalits and Maha Dalits. We have worked for all and not for our families," he said.

CM Nitish also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and his role in Bihar's development, saying, "The PM Modi-led central government is giving full support to Bihar's development journey. Only the NDA can develop Bihar. The pace of development has increased a lot due to the presence of both NDA governments at the Centre and the state".
