In the first week of the New Year, residents of Ara are set to experience a new era of train travel. The Railways is preparing to launch a Sleeper Vande Bharat train on the Patna-Ara-Delhi route. Additionally, a proposal has been submitted for a Patna-Mumbai Vande Bharat train. Both trains will have official stops at Ara Junction, providing significant relief to travelers from the Bhojpur district.
Currently, a Vande Bharat train is already operating on this route between Patna and Gomti Nagar, which also stops at Ara. The booking rates from Ara for this service have been reported as excellent.
Advanced Safety And Modern Features
Special attention has been given to modern safety technology in the Sleeper Vande Bharat. The train is equipped with the ‘Kavach’ system, which automatically brings the train to a halt if there is any risk of an accident. CCTV cameras have been installed in all coaches. Throughout the journey, passengers will receive audio-visual updates regarding their current location, the next station, stoppages, and other important information.
The gangways connecting the coaches are completely sealed, preventing outside dust from entering. Furthermore, the train features automatic plug doors that close automatically 10 seconds before departure, which will help curb incidents of theft and snatching. The interiors of the Sleeper Vande Bharat have been designed to be fully modern and comfortable, with a special focus on luxury. Passengers will also be able to access high-speed internet.
Patna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Planned For January 1
The Railways is also preparing to commence operations of the Patna-Ara-Mumbai Vande Bharat train starting January 1. This train is scheduled to run in a time slot following the Rajdhani Express and is being included in the new timetable.
This train will also halt at Ara Junction, offering great convenience to passengers from the south-western region of Bihar. With these developments, a new chapter of fast, safe, and modern travel connecting Ara to Delhi and Mumbai is about to begin.
