The Ministry of Railways has approved experimental stoppages for several trains under the Samastipur Railway Division, aiming to improve passenger convenience and connectivity to key destinations. The new halts, effective from September 12 onwards, were confirmed by Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway.
According to officials, these stoppages will benefit local passengers, especially those from smaller towns and villages, by providing easier access to major routes and long-distance trains.

New Experimental Stoppages:
15215 Muzaffarpur–Narkatiaganj MEMU Express: New halt at Parsa Nagar Halt from September 12. Arrival 09:50, departure 09:51. In the reverse direction, 15216 Narkatiaganj–Muzaffarpur MEMU will stop there at 14:49–14:50 on the same date.
15705 Katihar–Delhi Champaran Humsafar Express: Halt at Sugauli station from September 15. Arrival 14:35, departure 14:37. The return train, 15706 Delhi–Katihar Champaran Humsafar, will stop at 09:58–10:00 from September 13.
04651 Jaynagar–Amritsar Clone Express: Halt at Madhubani station from September 12. Arrival 04:40, departure 04:42.
75215 Jaynagar–Raxaul DEMU: Halt at Riga station from September 12. Arrival 08:08, departure 08:09.
15507 Darbhanga–Patna Intercity Express: Halt at Jogiyara station from September 12. Arrival 03:31, departure 03:33.
15508 Patna–Darbhanga Intercity Express: Halt at Jogiyara station from September 12. Arrival 00:01, departure 00:03.
15561 Darbhanga–Gomtinagar Amrit Bharat Express: Halt at Jogiyara station from September 13. Arrival 15:34, departure 15:36. In return, 15562 Gomtinagar–Darbhanga Express will stop there at 22:38–22:40 from September 14.
75215 Jaynagar–Raxaul DEMU: Halt at Kamtaul station from September 12. Arrival 06:00, departure 06:02. The return service, 75216 Raxaul–Jaynagar DEMU, will stop there at 22:23–22:25.
09451 Gandhidham–Bhagalpur Special: Halt at Bagaha station from September 14. Arrival 09:28, departure 09:30. The return service, 09452 Bhagalpur–Gandhidham Special, will stop there at 14:20–14:22 from September 15.
Railway officials said these halts will be reviewed after the trial period to assess passenger response and operational feasibility.
