Shravani Mela Special Train: In connection with the Shravani Mela, the Shravani Mela special train will be operated from Banaras to Madhupur via Gaya-Kiul by the Indian Railways from July 14 to cater to passenger rush, jagran.com reported.
Shravani Mela Special Train Details
Shravani Mela Special train will run from Banaras to Madhupur via Gaya-Kiul till August 4, 2025. Every Monday, train number 03157 Madhupur-Banaras Shravani Mela Special train will depart from Madhupur Junction at 12:10 pm and reach Banaras station at 11:30 pm (23:30).
On every Tuesday from July 15 to August 5, 2025, train number 03158 Banaras-Madhupur Shravani Mela Special train will depart from Banaras station at 01:50 pm and reach Madhupur junction at 14:30 pm (02:30).
This Shravani Mela Special train will start from Varanasi Junction and will reach Tilaiya Junction, Nawada, Sheikhpura Junction, Kiul Junction, Jamui, Jhajha, Simultala and Jasidih Junction via DDU Junction, Bhabua Road, Sasaram Junction, Dehri on Sone, Anugrah Narayan Road, and Gaya Junction.

In another update, the Sawan special train from Ranchi to Bhagalpur via Dhanbad has been approved. The special train will run three days a week from Bhagalpur on July 11 and from Ranchi on July 12. Since the only train that runs via Sultanganj, Ranchi-Godda Express, has a long waiting list, the special train will provide relief to the devotees going to Sultanganj to offer prayers to Baba Nagari Deoghar as well as Baba Vaidyanath.
The train will make 14 trips each from Ranchi and Bhagalpur till August 11. This train will have three general class, nine sleeper and two SLRD coaches.
