Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday dismissed reports of any rift within the Mahagathbandhan, assuring that all issues will be resolved by tomorrow. Amid concerns over ‘friendly clashes’ between allies ahead of the Bihar elections, Congress veteran Ashok Gehlot has been sent to Patna to mediate and meet Tejashwi Yadav to smooth over differences.

"There are no disputes. You will get all the answers tomorrow," he said while addressing a press conference.

He also stated that contractual employees employed by the government will be granted permanent positions, officially becoming full-fledged government staff.

"The second major announcement concerns the contractual employees (samvida karmi). They are exploited since they carry out all the government work. They are terminated without informing them of the reason. All these employees working in the state will be made permanent. We will work to give them the status of permanent government staffers," Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, said.

Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and Bhupesh Baghel, former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, have been appointed as the party's senior election observers for the Bihar assembly elections. Before departing for Bihar, Gehlot told ANI that any existing confusion regarding the elections would be resolved shortly.

"There can be a friendly fight in some seats. The process is moving forward. We will hold a press conference, and the situation will be cleared. All the confusion will be cleared. Mahagathbandhan will contest the elections strongly," he said.

Ashok Gehlot has arrived in Patna to help minimize internal conflicts within the party. Once differences are resolved, several candidates may withdraw their nominations. Sources indicate that Mahagathbandhan allies could address the media soon to project a message of unity.

The Congress may also back Tejashwi Yadav as the alliance’s Chief Ministerial candidate. So far, the party has not officially named him, reportedly keeping this as leverage during seat-sharing discussions. In a media interaction today, Tejashwi stated there is “no dispute” and added, “You will get all the answers tomorrow.”
