Vande Bharat Express: Bettiah is all set to join Bihar’s Vande Bharat network, with the premium train service cutting down travel time to Patna to just 3 hours and 30 minutes. The new Bettiah-Patna Vande Bharat Express, scheduled to begin operations on June 20, is being hailed as a major development in regional connectivity and a boost for passengers seeking faster and more comfortable travel to the state capital.

The launch of this vande bharat express is being seen as a key achievement by the government. With advanced features, high speed, and a premium travel experience, the Vande Bharat Express is generating excitement among residents. The train is expected to benefit not only Bettiah but also nearby areas by providing quicker access to Patna. According to Jagran.com, passengers can look forward to modern amenities such as reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, and automatic doors.

Vande Bharat Route and Timings

Railway officials have confirmed that the Vande Bharat Express will depart from Gorakhpur at 6:00 AM, arriving at Bettiah by 8:36 AM. After a short 3-minute halt, it will depart at 8:39 AM and continue towards Bapudham Motihari. The train will make additional stops at Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, and Patliputra Junction before reaching Patna at 12:00 noon.

Preparations Underway At Bettiah Station

Preparations are in full swing for the launch event on June 20. Station Superintendent Lalbabu Rawat stated that a stage is being set up at Bettiah station for the ceremony. BJP workers are expected to be present to inform and engage with the public about the benefits of this new service.

Rawat also confirmed that the train will be fully reserved and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Tickets will be available only through online booking. The service will not only shorten the travel time between Bettiah and Patna but will also ease connectivity from Gorakhpur to the state capital.

Residents have welcomed the new train with optimism, viewing it as a step forward in local development.

“This train service will open up economic opportunities. Passengers can now reach the capital more easily for both business and personal reasons, which will also contribute to regional development", said Sheikh Ramiz, a youth.
