In response to the increasing passenger traffic during the festive season, Indian Railways has announced the operation of Vande Bharat Festival Special trains between Patna and New Delhi. According to a notification from East Central Railway, Hajipur, this special service will operate from October 11 to November 17.
Train Operation Details:
-Train No. 02252 (New Delhi-Patna): The train will depart from New Delhi every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 08:35 AM and arrive at Patna at 9:30 PM. It will stop at Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara.
-Train No. 02251 (Patna-New Delhi): The train will depart from Patna at 10:00 AM every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and reach New Delhi at 11:30 PM
With an aim to provide a comfortable and safe journey to the passengers, these festival special trains will run around 16-17 trips in both directions. They will feature Vande Bharat rakes with 16 to 20 coaches, which will be fully electric and air-conditioned.
According to the railway, this service is being launched in response to the high passenger demand between Bihar and Delhi during major festivals like Diwali and Chhath. These trains will further facilitate travel between Bihar and Delhi, providing significant relief to passengers during the festive season.
