Gold Price Today: The yellow metal price in India today, December 8, is Rs 13,042 per gram for 24 karat gold, Rs 11,955 per gram for 22 karat gold, and Rs 9,782 per gram for 18-karat gold. The price of silver in India today is Rs 189 per gram and Rs 1,89,000 per kilogram.

Gold has, over the years, been a perfect hedge against inflation. The silver price in India is determined by international prices, which can move in either direction. Other than that, it also depends on the currency movement of the rupee against the dollar. If the rupee falls against the dollar while international prices remain stable, silver will become more expensive.

24 Karat Gold Price In India On Dec 8

Today, the rate of 24-carat gold in India per gram is Rs 13,042, showing a slight increase of Rs 27 from yesterday’s rate of Rs 13,015. For larger quantities, 8 grams of gold costs Rs 1,04,336 today, up Rs 216 from yesterday’s Rs 1,04,120. Similarly, 10 grams are priced at Rs 1,30,420, reflecting a rise of Rs 270 from Rs 1,30,150. For 100 grams, the price stands at Rs 13,04,200, marking an increase of Rs 2,700 compared to yesterday’s Rs 13,01,500.

22 Karat Gold Price In India On Dec 8

Today, the rate of 22-carat gold in India per gram is Rs 11,955, up Rs 25 from yesterday’s Rs 11,930. For 8 grams, the price is Rs 95,640, showing an increase of Rs 200 from Rs 95,440. Ten grams cost Rs 1,19,550, rising from Rs 1,19,300 yesterday. For 100 grams, the rate stands at Rs 11,95,500, up Rs 2,500 compared to yesterday’s Rs 11,93,000.

18 Karat Gold Price In India On Dec 8

Today, the rate of 18-carat gold in India per gram is Rs 9,782, up Rs 21 from yesterday’s Rs 9,761. For 8 grams, the price is Rs 78,256, reflecting an increase of Rs 168 from Rs 78,088. Ten grams cost Rs 97,820, rising Rs 210 from yesterday’s Rs 97,610. For 100 grams, the rate stands at Rs 9,78,200, up Rs 2,100 compared to Rs 9,76,100 yesterday.
