LPG Cylinder New Price: Oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinders, offering slight relief to businesses across India. Effective Saturday, the price of the commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been cut by Rs 7, bringing the new rate to Rs 1,797. This adjustment is anticipated to benefit hotels, restaurants, and various other commercial establishments reliant on LPG for their daily operations.
The price reduction follows a recent hike in December when the cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 62. Frequent price revisions are influenced by fluctuations in global crude oil rates and other economic factors, reflecting the volatile international market conditions seen in recent days. Despite the marginal reduction, the move provides some financial respite to small businesses and commercial setups that heavily depend on LPG.
Domestic LPG Cylinder Rates Today
While commercial LPG prices have seen a reduction, domestic LPG cylinder rates remain unchanged. A 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder continues to be priced at Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 840.50 in Lucknow, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai, Rs 818.50 in Chennai, and Rs 829 in Kolkata. This stability offers some consistency for households amid fluctuating fuel prices.
LPG prices vary across states due to local taxes and transportation costs. While the latest revision mainly affects commercial users, businesses nationwide will experience a minor yet welcome reduction in operational costs. The unchanged domestic rates, however, suggest that households will not experience any immediate financial relief.

The recent LPG price revision aligns with a broader trend in fuel price adjustments. Oil companies routinely update LPG rates based on global market trends, balancing between international crude prices and local economic conditions.
