PM Kisan 23rd Installment: The 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi was released on June 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the installment amount to the accounts of millions of farmers across the country from West Bengal’s Tarakeswar. This time, more than 94.4 million farmers have been sent assistance of over Rs 18,880 crore.

However, sometimes the installment amount does not reach the accounts of some eligible farmers immediately. There's no need to panic. If you are an eligible beneficiary of the scheme and have not received the Rs 2,000, there are a few important things you should check.

Ensure Bank Account Is Active

In many cases, payments may be delayed due to incorrect bank account information or an inactive account. Farmers should ensure that their bank account is active and the information provided is correct.

Check e-KYC Status

E-KYC is mandatory to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana. If a farmer has not yet completed e-KYC, their installment payment may be delayed. Farmers can check their e-KYC status by visiting the PM Kisan portal.

Check Aadhaar, Bank Account Linking

Any mismatch between your Aadhaar number and your bank account can also cause a payment to be delayed. Any discrepancies in your name, date of birth, or other details should be corrected first.

Check Name In Beneficiary List

Farmers should also check whether their name appears on the scheme's beneficiary list. Sometimes, errors in documentation can lead to their name being removed from the list.

Check Payment Status Online

The payment status can be checked by visiting the PM Kisan portal and using the 'Know Your Status' option. This information will indicate whether the installment has been released or if the payment is on hold for some reason.

The government transfers PM Kisan Yojana funds to the accounts of millions of farmers simultaneously. Sometimes, it can take a few hours or a day or two for the funds to reach all accounts. Therefore, farmers should wait a little while after the payment is released.

If you are an eligible beneficiary, have completed e-KYC, have correct bank and Aadhaar information, and are listed on the beneficiary list, Rs 2,000 installment will be credited to your account. In case of any problems, you can seek assistance through the helpline and email.
