Will Banks Be Closed On Saturday, June 20?
This week's Saturday falls on June 20. Banks are closed on two Saturdays and open on two Saturdays per month. In months with five Saturdays, banks are open on three Saturdays.
The Saturday falling on June 20 will be the third Saturday of the month. RBI rules require banks to be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, in addition to Sundays. Banks remain open on other Saturdays.
June 20 is the third Saturday of the month, so banks will be open on this day. This means that customers and farmers can go to the bank to withdraw or deposit money.

Will Rs 2,000 Each Be Deposited In Accounts Of Farmers On June 20?
The 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana will be released on Saturday, from Tarakeswar in Hooghly, West Bengal. An amount of Rs 2,000 each will be transferred to the accounts of over 9 crore farmers simultaneously. You can also withdraw money from an ATM using UPI. If you do not use UPI, you can also withdraw it at a bank.
Since the launch of PM Kisan Yojana in 2019, an amount of Rs 4.28 lakh crore has been sent to the accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmers.

Who Are Eligible For The Scheme?
Only those farmers whose names are included in the official beneficiary list will receive the payment. Additionally, they must ensure that all required formalities are completed, including:
-e-KYC verification
-Linking Aadhaar with bank accounts
-Verification of land records
-Incomplete or incorrect details may result in delayed or withheld payments
