PM Kisan Mandhan Scheme: To increase the income of crores of farmers of the country, both union and state goverments run many welfare schemes. 'PM Kisan Mandhan Yojna' is One such scheme run by Central Government. The scheme has been designed for the small and marginal farmers.

Under the scheme, Small and marginal farmers completing 60 years of age, will get a guaranteed pension of Rs 3000 every month, this is the minimum amount. If the farmer dies, the farmer's wife gets 50 percent of the pension. The pension is applicable to huband and wife only, their childrens would not be eligible for the same. Farmer aged between 18 years to 40 years can join the welfare scheme.

PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana

PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana is a scheme to provide monthly pension to small and marginal farmers after they cross the age of 60 years. Any farmer between the age of 18 years to 40 years can get registered for the scheme. Farmers have to do a monthly deposit with respect to their age to be a participant of PM Mandhan Scheme. To participate in the scheme, one has to deposit a sum of rs 55 to Rs 200 per month. If a farmer stats in early age, he has to pay less as monthly installment.

If the farmer dies, the wife will get a pension of Rs 1500 every month. At present 19,47,588 farmers have registered for the Prime Minister Kisan Maandhan Yojana.

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojna

Farmers, who have land upto 2 hectares can apply for the PM Kisan Mandhan Yojna. To apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, it is necessary to have Aadhaar card, identity card, age certificate, income certificate, Khasra Khatauni of crop fields, bank passbook, mobile number and passport size photo.
