The government will unveil the 16th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana (Scheme) on February 28, states the PM Kisan website.

On November 15, 2023, the government announced the release of the 15th installment of the program.

It is recommended that farmers who have registered for the PM-KISAN program finish their eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) process, as it is now required for all registered beneficiaries.

Through the PM-KISAN portal's OTP (One-Time Password) feature, the eKYC procedure can be completed.

As an alternative, farmers may complete the biometric-based eKYC by going to the Common Service Center (CSC) that is closest to them.

According to the PM Kisan website, farmers can contact the PM-KISAN Helpline at 155261 or dial 011-24300606 for assistance and answers to any questions regarding the PM-KISAN scheme.

PM Kisan Scheme 16th Installment 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to the farmer's corner on the official pmkisan.gov.in website.

Step 2: Select "New Farmer Registration," provide your Aadhar number, and complete the captcha page.

Step 3: Enter information now and select "Yes."

Step 4: Complete the PM Kisan application form with the requested information, save it, and print it out for your records.

How To Check Status Of Application

Step 1: Visit pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: Select the option ‘Beneficiary Status’ under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the home page

Step 3: Enter the registered Aadhaar number or bank account number.

Step 4: Click on ‘Get Data’

Step 5: The status of the installment will be displayed
