BCCI Naman Awards: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is poised to honour the crème de la crème of Indian cricket at its upcoming Naman Awards on Sunday, March 15 in New Delhi.
In the glittering ceremony, former India head coach Rahul Dravid is set to be honoured with the Col CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for his monumental contribution to Indian cricket, including guiding the team to the 2024 T20 World Cup title.
India ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill is set to be feted as the Men's Cricketer of the Year for 2025.

Dravid's transition from iconic batter to respected coach is well chronicled. Nicknamed "The Wall", Dravid amassed over 13,000 Test runs and 10,000 ODI runs, anchoring India's middle order for nearly two decades.
Dravid's impact on Indian cricket has been profound. He fostered young talent as coach of the U-19 and A teams, and topped his coaching tenure with the senior team's ICC T20 World Cup victory in 2024, ending an 11-year trophy drought.
He will join an outstanding club, becoming the first man since Sachin Tendulkar in 2025 to accept the award, alongside cricket legends like Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, and Ravi Shastri, among others.

Sharing the spotlight at the Naman Awards, Gill is set to be honoured with the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (2025). Despite missing the T20 World Cup-winning squad, 26-year-old Gill played impressively in Tests and ODIs.
Gill's remarkable stats include 983 Test runs at 70.21, with a standout 754-run series against England, and 490 ODI runs, including a key 188 in the Champions Trophy triumph.
