Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Rinku Singh is elated to receive another bat from batting maestro Virat Kohli ahead of the match against Punjab Kings at Eden Gardens on Friday.
Earlier, Rinku's plea was rejected by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) star batter Kohli in KKR's last home match. In the viral video, Kohli was seen denying Rinku for bat after the latter broke his previous gifted bats.
After the thrilling one run win over RCB, Rinku has finally succeeded to get a bat from his idol Kohli. KKR flamboyant batter broke Kohli's previous bat while facing a spinner in nets to which former India captain could not hold his amusement.

In a video posted by KKR's official X handle, Rinku was seen with new bat, gifted by Kohli to his fellow Indian teammate.
In the video, a fan asked Rinku, 'Did you get a bat?' He said, 'Yes, I got it'.

Rinku has scored 107 runs this season in just 26 balls, demonstrating that he still possesses the explosiveness to score some runs quickly. He has simply not had enough opportunities to bat.
Shreyas Iyer-led side is placed in second spot in the points table with five wins in seven matches to grab 10 points. Rajasthan Royals are currently at the top of the standings with 14 points in eight matches.
