ICC Test Rankings: India's star pacer Mohammed Siraj is on the verge of entering the top 10, according to the latest ICC Test rankings, following a match-winning performance during the series opener against the West Indies last week. Siraj jumped to the third position and is lying at the 12th position as per the latest rankings.

At the same time, star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has dropped out of the top five ICC Test batter rankings. He went from No.5 to No.7 after his inability to perform in the first Test match against the West Indies.

Siraj maintained his sublime form from the England Test series as he registered match-winning figures of 4/40 and 3/31, and that helped him to achieve his career-best rankings of 12, and he also scored 700 points for the first time. The host defeated West Indies by an innings and 41 runs, and the match ended in three days.

Siraj was the star performer during both innings. He surpassed Jasprit Bumrah, who wasn't at his absolute best. But he is still the highest wicket-taker in India.

Siraj bounced back brilliantly in the Test series against England, as he had taken 23 wickets after playing in five matches. He spearheaded India's bowling attack in Bumrah's absence during the fifth Test match and took the team across the line.

He will try to repeat his heroics in the 2nd Test match against the West Indies, which will be held later this week.

He had earlier achieved the career-high ranking of 29 after a decent run in the Test series against England, as he had scored 516 runs.

He also made a significant contribution with the ball in the 1st Test against the West Indies, which has helped him achieve career-best rankings as an all-rounder and has earned him 125 points.

Other Indian batters like KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel have also improved their rankings after smashing tons each. Rahul has climbed 4 positions, whereas Jurel has jumped 20 spots and has finished at 65th position post his first ton.
