Rohit Sharma-led India are gearing up for the five-match Test series against England and started training at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the venue for the first Test.

In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on social media, the Indian players including the captain, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj among others were seen sweating out on the ground.

Gill and Rahul had printing and stretching sessions with the team while Rohit was seen doing slip-catching practice in the 53-second video.

Rohit, Gill and Rahul were seen honing their batting skills in the nets before the wicketkeeper spent some time behind the wickets.

Indian bowlers Siraj, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav were also bowling in the nets.

India have not lost a single Test series at home in over a decade. England were the last team to defeat India at home in the Test series in December 2012.

With their Bazball approach, Ben Stokes-led England will look to create history on slow Indian wickets. England's team landed in Hyderabad on Sunday evening for their over-month-long tour.

On the other hand, India will be without Virat Kohli for the first two Tests of the series due to personal reasons. The BCCI has yet to name his replacement and expects him to return for the last three matches of the series.

The first Test between India and England will commence on Thursday, January 25.
