IND vs SA: South Africa's star pacer Kagiso Rabada will be giving the white-ball series against India a miss and will be flying back home to recover from a rib injury which he had suffered in a practice session before the ongoing Test series. At the same time, Anrich Nortje will be making a comeback to international cricket after 16 months and is part of their T20I team.

India will lock horns with South Africa for a three-match ODI series, which will be held later this month, and then these teams will be playing a five-match T20I series next month. Quinton de Kock, who made a U-turn from his ODI retirement recently, is also part of the team. He was adjudged the Player of the series award against Pakistan as he was their highest run-scorer, having scored 232 runs after playing in three matches, which also includes a hundred and two fifties.

But Lhuan de Pretorius, who was their second-highest run-scorer in the series against Pakistan, didn't make it to the team. Star batter Aiden Markram, who gave the T20I series against Pakistan a miss post leading the Test side, will now be leading the T20I team against India. He is also a part of the ODI team for the series against India.
