IND vs ENG 2nd ODI: India skipper Rohit Sharma bounced back to form on Sunday but India's star batter Virat Kohli will have to wait for some more time to regain his lost form. During the second match in Cuttack, he had scored just five runs off eight balls but then Adil Rashid took his wicket. Kohli had come into bat after Rohit and Shubman Gill stitched a partnership of 136 runs after England posted a mammoth target of 304 runs.

On the last ball of the 18th over, Kohli had smashed Gus Atkinson for a boundary as the ball went towards mid-on but he couldn't continue that form. Rashid had bowled an outside edge delivery and Phil Salt took a brilliant catch from behind the wicket.

The on-field umpire didn't signal out and then England took the review. In the replay, it was shown that there was a spike involved when the bat touched the ball. The on-field decision was changed and Kohli was seen walking back to the dressing room without scoring in double digits.

Rashid had joined the list of bowlers, who have taken Kohli's wicket 10 times. The other bowlers are Tim Southee (11), Josh Hazlewood (11), Moeen Ali (10) and James Anderson (10).

Virat is currently going through a lean patch. He had a woeful time during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series but he did score a century during the series opener.

Virat Kohli keeps struggling

Virat has been going through a rough patch. He was seen struggling during the five-match Test series against Australia.

When he made his return to the Ranji Trophy, he got out by Himanshu Sangwan in the clash against Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi.

He is in desperate need to bounce back ahead of the mega-event, which will begin on February 18.
