India vs South Africa 3rd ODI: India and South Africa will lock horns in the 3rd ODI match at the Boland Park in Paarl on Thursday, December 21.

The three-match ODI series is level at 1-1 as both teams will be eyeing their first series win in the format after the ODI World Cup 2023.

The hosts South Africa made a comeback in the series and put up a dominating performance in the second match in Gqeberha.

They clinched the victory in the 2nd ODI by eight wickets on the back of batting brilliance from the opening batter Tony de Zorzi who smashed a remarkable century in just the fourth match of his career.

India had kicked off the series in style as they outclassed the Aiden Markram in the first ODI, beating them by eight wickets after to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

The visitors were brilliant with the ball in the first match, bowling the Proteas out for just 116 runs in 27.3 overs but things were completely different in the second game as they struggled for wickets.

The hosts lost just two wickets and chased down the 212-run target in 42.3 overs, making a statement heading into the final match.

There is no rain threat predicted for the 3rd AODI match between India and South Africa in Paarl on Thursday. The weather is expected to remain hot and sunny with zero percent probability of precipitation during the match hours.

The temperature could hover around 36 degrees Celsius to 16 degrees Celsius, while the humidity is anticipated to be around 22 percent. The wind speed will be around 28 km/h during the 50-over clash.
