IPL 2024 Full Schedule: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 final will be played in Chennai on May 26 as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the remaining schedule of the tournament on Monday.
The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches will be staged at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 21 and 22 respectively. Chennai will also host the Qualifier 2 on May 24 before the summit clash on Sunday, May 26.
The 17th edition of the IPL got underway on Friday with the clash between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
"On February 22, 2024, the BCCI had announced the schedule for the first two weeks (21 matches), and the remainder of the schedule has been drawn up, factoring in the polling dates and venues for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections across the country," the IPL announced in a statement.
Despite the challenges of the Lok Sabha elections, the entire tournament will be played in the country.

The second phase of the schedule kicks off with the clash between CSK and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Chennai on April 8 followed by the clash between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mohali on the next day.
The doubleheader of the second phase of the schedule will begin on April 27 as Delhi Capitals will take on Mumbai Indians in Delhi and Lucknow Super Giants will face Rajasthan Royals in Lucknow in the evening match.

The league stage of the tournament will culminate in Guwahati on May 19 with the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders.
May 20 will be the only off day in the action-packed schedule before the playoff madness starts with Qualifier 1 in Ahmedabad on May 21.
IPL 2024 Groups
The 10 teams have been split into two groups for this season, with teams in one group playing the other five teams in the group twice and the other four teams in their own group once.
Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants
Group B: Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans
