Christmas 2024: Ex-India cricketer MS Dhoni was seen ringing in the festive spirit with his family by becoming Santa Claus while celebrating Christmas. His wife, Sakshi, took to her official social media account and posted pictures of their celebration, which went viral on social media. The former India cricketer was dressed as Santa Claus and was celebrating the festival with his wife and daughter Ziva thus creating wonderful memories.

The family was seen wearing red and white clothes, which showed warmth and happiness, and thus immersed themselves in the festive spirit. His fans were quite impressed with his playful side as this viral post displayed another element of his legacy.

Amidst this festive season, MS Dhoni's fans are anxiously waiting for his performance for CSK in the next edition of IPL. He has become quite irreplaceable for the five-time IPL champions. Under his captaincy, the franchise has won five IPL titles still 2023 and that made Dhoni one of the best IPL skippers.

Before the IPL 2025 mega auction, the franchise had retained him as an uncapped player at a base price of Rs 4 crore and that shows his grit and resilience to this franchise. There were speculations about his retirement after he gave CSK's captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad ahead of IPL 2024, although Dhoni hasn't yet announced his retirement from the tournament.

The topic of his retirement has been quite debated both by his fans and cricket experts. A lot of people speculated that IPL 2024 would be his last, especially after he led CSK to their fifth IPL title in 2023. Since there is no official confirmation yet, there are high chance that CSK fans will witness their beloved 'Thala' once again in IPL 2025.
