Pakistan vs Sri Lanka ODI Series 2025: Pakistan will be up against South Africa in the first ODI match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Both teams will face off in a three-match series, with all games scheduled to be played at the same venue.
Shaheen Afridi will continue to lead the Pakistan cricket team, whereas Sri Lanka are being led by senior batter Charith Asalanka. The viitors have named a strong ODI Squad that includes match winners like Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Maheesh Theekshana, Wanindu Hasaranga and Janith Liyanage.
Pakistan will be heading into the assignment with high confidence, having recently defeated South Africa 2-1 in the three-match series at home. That was Pakistan's first-ever ODI series win over Proteas at home. They have given chance to youngsters like Haseebullah Khan and Faisal Akram. Haris Rauf has also made a comeback into the side after remaining absent for the ODI's against South Africa.

Interestingly, Hasan Nawaz has been released from the ODI squad as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have asked him to play in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy First-Class tournament amid his disappointing form.
All eyes will be on Pakistan's senior players like aseem Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi.
