Former India captain MS Dhoni is celebrating his 45th birthday on Tuesday. Widely regarded as one of the greatest finishers in cricket history, Dhoni has stayed away from the spotlight since retiring from international cricket and is rarely seen making public appearances or posting on social media.

However, fans were in for a pleasant surprise when Dhoni was spotted at Trent Bridge in Nottingham during the third T20I between India and England. The clip of MS Dhoni went viral in no time. Here is the video:

MS Dhoni's cricketing career

MS Dhoni made his India debut in 2004, and over the years he grew into one of India's biggest sporting icons. Known for his calm approach, smart decision-making and ability to deliver in pressure situations, Dhoni earned the admiration of fans not just in India but around the world.

He is arguably one of the best captains to lead India. With those achievements, Dhoni became the only captain to win all three major ICC white-ball trophies.

Although he retired from international cricket in 2020, Dhoni's connection with the game remains as strong as ever. Every IPL season, fans continue to pack stadiums to watch him in action for Chennai Super Kings. Under his leadership, the franchise has won five IPL titles, which is the joint-most in the history of the tournament.

India's batting woes in England continue

Team India's batting struggles in England continued as they lost seven wickets for just 68 runs while chasing a target of 202 runs. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ishan Kishan were the only batters to cross the 10-run mark, with both scoring 13 runs each before the collapse.
