The stage is set for the final showdown of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 between India and Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium, and interestingly, the pitch for this crucial encounter will be the same one used in the India vs Pakistan match last month as per a report.
As per a report in The Indian Express, "The sluggish surface that could favor spinners."

There were also reports which suggested that the Indian team management had requested curators to modify the pitch by shaving off grass and creating a slow track. This move aimed to utilize home conditions and provide an advantage to the Indian spinners.
