The Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) multi-storey housing project, DDA Towering Heights in Karkardooma, has received an encouraging response ahead of its e-auction.

Developed under Delhi’s first Transit Oriented Development (TOD) policy, the project has attracted nearly 1,500 bids for 1,026 two-bedroom flats, officials said, attributing the strong demand to its prime location and excellent connectivity.

Situated next to Karkardooma Metro Station, the residential complex offers seamless access to both the Blue and Pink lines, along with convenient connectivity to NH-9, NH-24, and the Anand Vihar railway and ISBT terminals. The towers form part of the 30-hectare East Delhi Hub, planned as a mixed-use district integrating residential, commercial, retail, and civic facilities within a pedestrian-friendly environment.

Officials noted that the design reflects global urban development trends focused on walkability, accessibility, and reduced dependence on private vehicles. Executed by NBCC, Towering Heights features a 48-storey, 155-metre tower, set to be the tallest residential building in Delhi, and is fully RERA-approved, with sustainable and modern architectural elements.
