Delhi Airport News: Chaos was witnessed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on Friday morning after over 100 flights were delayed amid technical issues with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system. The airport authority advised the passengers to keep a check of their flights status to avoid inconvenience. Several flights faced delays of more than 30 minutes.
"Due to a technical issue with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, flight operations at IGIA are experiencing delays. Their team is actively working with all stakeholders including DIAL to resolve it at the earliest," stated an official statement from the airport authority.
"Passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused, the authority advised passengers.

SpiceJet alerted its passengers about the ATC congestion at Delhi's IGI and suggested to regularly check their flight status on official portal.
