The Delhi government is trying to create a better environment for industries by freeing them from the need for MCD factory licenses and Delhi Police licenses. As part of this, public camps will be set up in industrial areas starting next month to solve problems, including issues related to freehold rights. Also, to promote local products, fairs will be organised during the Diwali festival.

Industry Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa explained that these camps will make the process of getting freehold rights easier for industrial areas. Starting in October, teams from the Industry Department will set up camps in these areas to complete the freehold process on the spot. He also said that he will personally visit these camps to make sure that all relocated industries are included and that everyone gets their freehold rights quickly and without any hassle.

Seeing that business owners have been demanding freehold rights for decades, the government has stepped up its efforts. This is expected to benefit more than 50,000 entrepreneurs. The Industry Minister shared this information during a meeting with representatives of major industrial organisations of Delhi at the Secretariat.

He further added that a special Diwali fair will be organised to promote the products of small-scale industries, which will help them reach more customers and become more competitive. On this occasion, the business representatives also thanked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and the Industry Minister for solving long-pending issues that have been affecting Delhi's industrial growth since the 1990s.

Emphasising the government's commitment to trade and industry, Sirsa said, "Our government clearly understands that the people of Delhi have brought us to power to work. We have no doubt that by working in the interest of the people of Delhi, we will continue to serve for many years to come."
