Delhi Weather Today: Delhi is reeling under peak winter conditions, with Saturday registering the season's lowest minimum temperature of 4.2 degrees Celsius after Friday, which recorded the second lowest at 4.6. Delhi on Friday recorded the season’s lowest minimum temperature at 4.6 degrees Celsius, which was broken by Saturday’s data, which slipped as low as 4.2 degrees Celsius.
Intensifying cold conditions and worsening air quality are exacerbating the daily struggles of people in Delhi. The Air Quality Index of the city stood at 361 in the ‘very poor’ category at 7 am on Saturday, January 10, according to the data by the Central Pollution Control Board.
Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Alert For Dense Fog, Temp Dip
The IMD has placed a yellow alert across Delhi, predicting clear sky but moderate to dense fog at isolated places in the morning hours. The minimum temperature today is likely to range between 5-7 degrees Celsius.

According to the weather forecast bulletin, the minimum temperature is likely to dip on Sunday, as IMD expects it to range between 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, with shallow to moderate fog and mainly clear sky.
Similar weather is likely to follow till January 15, with the minimum temperature expected to increase by 1 degree Celsius and range between 6 to 8 degrees Celsius towards the end of the week.
Partly cloudy skies and shallow to moderate fog during morning hours are expected to follow towards the end of the week
Delhi AQI Remains ‘Very Poor’, Anand Vihar, Vivek Vihar At Severe
Delhi woke to a thick layer of toxic smog with an overall AQI standing at 361, in the very poor category. Areas like Anand Vihar, Vivek Vihar remained among severely hit areas with an AQI of 425 and 412, respectively.
